FLIGHT-CONTROLS · ANY · LEVEL HARD
Departure Delhi VIDP RWY 28, cleared to climb 6 000 ft. PASSING 2 500 FT the captain's pitot blocks: the two PFDs show conflicting airspeeds and the autopilot drops on its own. The ECAM shows AUTO FLT AP OFF (red) and NAV IAS DISCREPANCY (amber) — NOT an ADR fault, because ADR 1 has not failed; it is faithfully reporting a lying probe. 'UNRELIABLE SPEED' is the memory-item call-out. NAV ADR 1 FAULT appears later, when the crew switch ADR 1 off themselves.
Disconnect AP/FD/A-THR and fly the QRH pitch+thrust table (10°/CLB below FL100), CONTINUE THE CLIMB on it — telling ATC 'continuing climb, standby for level', because the level-off altitude cannot be known until the QRH LEVEL OFF row is read out — then level off on that row (4°, ~56 % N1) wherever that puts you, at or above the 6 000 MSA, and report the level. Then work AFFECTED ADR IDENTIFICATION in the FCOM's order: probe/window heat ON first, crosscheck all speed indications, AIR DATA SWTG to CAPT 3, ADR 1 off, GPWS TERR off. Then hold at DPN R230/15, take vectors, and fly the ILS RWY 28 back into Delhi.
